Before you start
Make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection and your eSIM QR code ready. You can find the QR code in your order confirmation email.
Step 1: Open Settings
Go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM (or "Add Cellular Plan" on older versions).
Step 2: Scan the QR code
Tap Use QR Code and scan the code from your confirmation email. Your iPhone will detect the plan automatically.
Step 3: Label your plan
Give your eSIM a label like "Bali Travel" so you can tell it apart from your home SIM.
Step 4: Set Your Default Line and Data Plan
If you have multiple plans, decide which one to use as your default for calls, messages, and data:
1. In Settings > Cellular, tap Default Voice Line to choose which plan to use for calls and messages.
2. Tap Cellular Data to select which plan to use for data.
You can use your eSIM to make both local and international calls. If you still need to receive verification codes or banking SMS while using eSIM data.
